We use fully capped ultrashield decking boards which have been used across the World in both very hot and very cold climates. Our products are recognised Worldwide for being both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly. Our decking boards are a fully capped wood plastic composite. Our deck boards have an outer skin of plastic polymer which makes the boards impermeable which protects it from fading, scratches and stains.

Our deck boards are very low-maintenance because the outer shell prevents any liquids being absorbed by the board. Any spillages are easily wiped off and there are no splinters to worry about as with traditional wood deck boards. They come with a 25 year warranty subject to following our very simple care guide.

No Stains – Wine, coffee, soy sauce, vegetable oil etc cannot stain the board. Messes can be easily wiped off the surface because the liquid never gets absorbed, very easy to clean and low maintenance.

No Mildew, Mould, Rotting, Splitting or Cracking – an impermeable layer, so there is no fungus growth or splitting able to occur on the surface of the board, therefore a longer life span than regular uncapped composites.

The unique formulation of the shield ensures its colour stays much longer compared to conventional composite decking. The result of 3000 hours in a QUV accelerated weathering test chamber is Delta E <4.0, meaning no visible colour change can be observed with the human eye.

No Painting or Oiling – The multichromatic colours are a part of the shield’s formulation meaning that you will never have to paint, sand, or oil again.

Boards We Use for Installation

UltraShield ® is a capped wood plastic composite. With an advanced premium shield encasing all four sides around its inner core. The shield and core are combined under very high-temperatures, creating an impermeable shield.

The shield uses an advanced engineering polymer to create a formulation which gives the boards Ultra Protection against Stain Mildew, Mould, Rotting, Splitting or Cracking Colour Fading and Painting or Oiling.
