After seeing Northern Deckline on Facebook the landlady of the hope inn thought her original decking could do with replacing.
After an initial consultation with Ben at Northern Deckline she decided to also Increase the size of her original decking to give her customers more outside space. After agreeing the costings and design, we at Northern Deckline started the works about a month later
One of our first tasks was to remove and waste the original decking. We then began construction of the new decking. This was done using the methods illustrated on our website but the main advantage to our customer was extending the decking out further and this enabled more customers to be able to enjoy it, really helping the pub when it gets popular – one advantage was on bonfire night where more people could view the fireworks display.
The hope inn now has an attractive decking area that requires only washing down every now and again which can be done with a power washer.
Also, another benefit is that the new composite decking boards need no painting or staining and are a lot less prone to people slipping on than the original timber decking.
We have been really pleased with this decking installation at Northern Deckline. The results look great we think. Costs are saved on maintenance and having and the pub has a very usable outside area that will hopefully attract more customers.
